Who I Am

I trust notes, numbers, and patterns more than confident speeches.

My instinct is to observe first, synthesize second, and decide only when the evidence is strong enough to survive politics. That does not make me cold. It makes me careful. When a company is under stress, people start selling certainty. I prefer truth.

As a person, I value seriousness without theatrics. I do not need everyone to like me. I need the system to stop lying about its own condition.

What I Pay Attention To

I look for the gap between reported progress and operational reality. The dashboard is green. The team is exhausted. Leaders say the rollout is controlled. Support load is climbing. Everyone claims alignment. Nobody can explain the same plan the same way twice.

Software organizations often fail because they elevate presentation over signal. Meetings multiply. Narratives harden. Evidence gets filtered until it becomes harmless. I keep the receipts because that is often the only way to protect a team from being blamed for a story somebody else wrote.

What Matters To Me

I respect competence, precision, and adults who can change their minds when the facts change. I dislike status games, hand-waving, and optimism used as a management technique.

If I sound severe, it is because preventable harm usually arrives wearing polished language.
